It's a bigger than normal fender made of rubber mainly used for ship to ship mooring. It's size can be bigger than diameter 1.5 m and length 2.5 m.

Fender is like a rubber tyre but bigger and air tight or sealed with buoyant material inside. Typical shape is cylindrical with two ends closed with semi-spherical covers.
